To augment our free Saturday theatre presentations we are pleased to announce our new hands on workshops.
Every Thursday from 2:00pm to 4:30 pm we will be hosting workshops that give you hands-on training with our in-house experts, with topics ranging from the iLife Suite (iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD, iTunes and GarageBand) to more in depth applications like Final Cut Express HD, as well as covering all aspects of Mac OS X.
Bring your own cameras, footage, whatever's appropriate and we'll provide the computers. Cost is R350 + VAT space is limited to 6 places and your seat must be booked in advance, so book early to avoid disappointment.
If there are any topics we don't cover and you think we should, email us. We're here for your benefit... we look forward to seeing you.
Please note: Dates and topics are subject to change - please check back frequently

Bring your camera with some footage, or something you've shot on external media - we'll provide the rest.

Thursday 22nd - iPhoto '09 Book Workshop
|
|
2:00 pm - |
4:30 pm |
iPhoto '09 brings a raft of features to an already mature product. Face detection and recognition make for a whole new way of cataloguing your pictures. Couple this with the ability to automatically recognise location information, and all of a sudden you have the ability to sort your pictures by person or location! With minimal extra effort on your part.
Of course the update wouldn't be complete without some tasty upgrades to your photo editing tools. Increase saturation in a picture without affecting skin tones of the people in your pictures.
This workshop will take you from importing your images, to sorting, to output specifically concentrating on, books, calendars and cards.
And for an extra R200, you can make a book that will get printed on high quality gloss paper and make physical your digital dreams.
